The Faculty of Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Organized the Procurement Training and Screening for Preventing COVID-19

The Faculty of Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the 2nd training according to the Public Procurement and Supplies Administration. Act, B.E. 2560 (2017) on “Document Inspection and Procurement Qualification and Proposal Consideration” during March 7–8, 2020 at Royal City Hotel, Bangkok, and invited Dr. Chonmapat Torasa, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Industrial Technology, presided to give an opening speech.

This training aimed to provide new parcel officers and financiers, personnel who work on procurement and parcel management as well as general people who were interested in this training the knowledge and understanding on laws, regulations and guidelines related to the Public Procurement and Supplies Administration. Act, B.E. 2560 (2017) on how to inspect documents as well as consider the procurement qualifications and proposals in order to help them be able to manage the inspection and consideration effectively and consistent to the laws, regulations, rules and guidelines. This training was honored by Mr. Natchanon Siripongsurapa to be a keynote speaker, and there were 75 people who participated in the training.

Besides, this training also had the preventive measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus by providing primary screening and hygienic masks as well as putting alcohol-based hand sanitizers in prominent places around the area for training staffs and participated trainees in order to monitor and prevent the spreading of COVID-19 virus, and to help the participated staffs and trainees have a confidence during the training.
